Cilag AG offers traineeships in various professions. At present, the following traineeships are on offer:

Chemical laboratory assistant: 4 – 6 per year

IT: 1 every 2 years

Information afternoons

We offer information afternoons for applicants for the roles of chemical laboratory assistant and chemical/pharmaceutical technician. These will be advertised in brochures in schools’ career centres.

Taster day(s)

This is organised as a relatively structure-less “experience day”. Enquiries are sent centrally via human resources and are then forwarded to mentors for processing. The aim of the taster day is to offer students in second year of secondary school an insight.

Traineeship selection days

This involves the actual selection of trainees. It takes place after the information day, i.e. after the Easter holidays. Before the traineeship selection day, an aptitude test is taken by prospective chemical laboratory assistants at the company, aprentas, in Basel. For other traineeships the procedure, with or without an aptitude test, is carried out via the career adviser.
