Pharmaceuticals

Cilag Schaffhausen is a strategic launch and manufacturing plant for several of Johnson & Johnson’s key pharmaceutical products, including biological compounds. Using state-of-the-art technologies and processes we produce a variety of pharmaceutical dosage forms such as parenterals (lyophilized vials, liquid vials & syringes), solids (tablets, coated tablets, hormone-containing tablets, capsules, ) and semi-solids (suppositories, ovules & creams).

For the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary «Advanced Sterilization Products» ASP so called ASP Sterrad-cassettes are manufactured for the entire world market. These cassettes are used in hospitals and labs for the sterilization of medical or surgical equipments in fact in scope of a special method, developed by ASP.

Chemicals

Cilag Chemical Operations is a development and launch centre for active pharmaceutical ingredients. We work closely with the Pharmaceutical Research & Development Group of Johnson & Johnson ("Janssen Research & Development"). "Time to Market" is one of our key critical success factors. From our state-of-the art facilities, we export our chemical products to over 40 countries all around the world.
